I think you want the 30 mm LED bulbs for the vanity lights, 28s are a bit loose. The 30 mm will also probably work for the rear trunk light, as that is a different socket.

Here in Australia Level 1 charging does exist, it just charges at a higher power level around 2.2kW unless you have a 15/16A outlet and granny charger you can get 3.3kW. Level 2 charging is 7kW - 22kW(depending if they have 3-phase or not).

So ninja turtle kept popping up a few times, drove for about another 1mile down the road to find a safe spot to pull over. Car went pretty much dead by that time just rolling. Popped the hood absolutely no pink fluid, if I'm correct pink is anti freeze then about a few minutes later the refill coolant decides to pop up on the dash, alittle too late for the warning. As you can see only 800 miles! Has anyone had this problem? Or is this a common issue among these Ioniq5? I know of the ICCU issue with these vehicle but not sure of this problem. Was not expecting this at all. Left me and my family of 5 stranded on a busy highway in 93°weahter for 3hrs. So any help or advice would be greatly appreciated and what action would you suggest for hyundai to take care of.

Is that the same for the kia sportage hybrid? I always fill it up when it's down to 2-3 line. Gauge says approx 100 miles left but I don't trust it and always fear of running out of gas.

Only drove it to zero to test a 0 to 100% of charge and usually arrive above 3% and try not to arrive above 10% if possible but the IONIQ 5 charges great even at arrivals of 20% or 30%. It’s just you won’t get as much kilowatt per minute of charging benefit. 10:29

Cool to see the test and the results! Thanks for doing that test in the heat. I wouldn't push it past 0 as low states of charge can (does?) damage the batteries.

Why not mount your phone so that you won't have to look all the way down like that? Also you could put the app on your car screen as well if you have one of those Android boxes.

Very well done, but I have a couple questions. You show the jump starter being hooked up, then the hood is closed, you start the car, then go back to disconnect the jump starter. Did not show reopening the hood to do that. Do you leave the jumper connected, close the hood and start the car? How long does the jumper need to be connected prior to starting the car?

So, question, if it hasnt been answered: In a gasoline vehicle, you can carry gas cans in your vehicle should you expect to run out of fuel. Is there an EV equivalent to that?

I haven’t gone beyond 0% in my Ioniq 5, but your video draining that one gave me the confidence to keep going on 80 mile chargerless stretch to reach the next EA station at 1%.

I've had my 2022 Ioniq 5 for a little over 2 years.I've been careful to make sure all recalls are addressed as quickly as possible. EV's being a fairly new technology, I think they take a bit more diligence to keep them in tip top shape. When people first started reporting issues with the 12V batteries a couple of years ago, I was careful to monitor my car and make sure the 12V was getting charged (the amber light on the dash). So far, I've had really good luck with my car and I love it. It has found it's forever home.

Take your time, I will be waiting for fresh videos once they are ready. Good luck with wedding planning, it’s what I do for a living (wedding photographer) so I know how involved it is. On the car side, my IONIQ 5 Level 2 charging derated for the first time just this morning. It has been in the high 90’s for a solid week now. I hope when the temps fall again, my 11kw charging will come back. Future video: Perhaps a Model Y (an IONIQ 5 competitor, makes sense to review) can be secured via Turo.

The only caveat to the bottom buffer range is that it is temperature sensitive. You will not get nearly as much useable buffer when its below zero or the battery is cold soaked. Ask me how I know :)

I agree on your assessment that the EV4 looks to be a true sedan rather than a liftback, which for me personally is quite gutting as I move larger objects in my vehicles frequently enough that I simply cannot give up the opening size of a liftback or hatcback. It's a real shame; the EV4 was something that I've been looking forward to since it was announced as (hopefully) an EV6 in a smaller footprint, but with no liftback tailgate it becomes basically a non starter for me. I do hope all the sedan purists and other buyers that don't have my use-case will be very happy with it, and I suppose I'll hold out hope that they'll have a liftback option - but that's one hell of a hedged bet there.

When I was doing my 70mph range test I was still 15 mi out of town when I got turtle mode. That freaked me out because I couldn't maintain 70 on the highway 😂

What was the bottom voltage when it finally cut off?
